My master project draws its inspiration from the structures, colors and shapes of ropes and revolved around two fields of investigations which later became a two-pieces collection.
The first one consisted in a research around knots and a reinterpretation of the traditional cable knit.
The second part was focused on the bright artificial and technical look of ropes. Using industrial knitting machines I designed my own knitted yarn to create a graphic pattern.
